The BEGINNER needlepoint class, YANKEE DOODLE, will be taught on Wednesday evenings, beginning
February 29, 2012 .
This Sampler consists of 10 different stitches in 3 colors of the student’s choice over a
six-week period and is worked on 13 mesh canvas. The teaching fee is $90 per student plus materials.

The INTERMEDIATE CLASS will be taught on Tuesday evenings, beginning
February 28, 2012,
from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for an eight-week period. This monogram sampler is stitched on 13 mesh canvas in
2 color families of the student’s choice. The teaching fee is $180 plus materials.

Advanced Classes

Jane Zimmerman’s FLORENTINE AND LACE SAMPLER is a beautiful study in pulled and cut work embroidery.
It was taught at ANG Seminar in 2001 and is now being offered at Mrs. Stitches for 8 classes in 2 sessions.

The piece is stitched on 18 mesh eggshell canvas in 2 different silk families of the student’s choice.
The teaching fee is $180 for all classes in both sessions plus chart and materials.

If you want to take the next step in learning canvas embroidery techniques, this class is for you.
It teaches you how to cut and remove canvas threads to make different lace patterns and how to create
decorative areas by “pulling” the canvas threads out of alignment in very unique ways.

The ADVANCED CLASS, Florentine Fantasy, will be on Monday evenings, beginning
February 27, 2012
and will continue for 8 weeks.
The teaching fee is $185 per student plus materials.
This advanced class is a lesson in Florentine canvas embroidery,
pattern couching, and basic composite filling patterns. It is worked
on 18 mesh eggshell needlepoint canvas in two families of silk thread
and one of metallic. There is a limited number of color combinations
from which the student may choose.
